She likes it!

"My dog does chill out on this. She gobbles her food down and then she enjoys a nap typically. I give this to her when I know we are going to have company because she gets very spicy around strangers, men especially."

Q&A

Our dog only seems to have issues when someone is not around and does get some anxiety when in a vehilce but she doesnt go a lot with us. It seems like its more when there is a storm when she is home alone. Someone suggested the Head & Heal but it looks like this is an everyday use. We do not believe she needs it all the time as we are with her a lot. Please let me know what you think.
Hi Diane, great question! For pets you can definitely use it as needed. Quite a few of our customers use the CBD Pet Oils for thunderstorms or car rides. They usually do a larger dose of it for those "as needed" uses. A good guideline is to take the dogs weight, divide it in half and that is the max dosage you'd want to give. For case specific anxiety I would suggest giving half to all of that number.
Is it ok to give the oil directly in to a dog's mouth for absorption if they are not eating & it can't be put in their food?
Yes, you can certainly give them the oil directly! However, we recommend using something other than the glass dropper to administer the oil in order to limit the possibility of contaminating the bottle with saliva.
My 10 month old Vizsla starts drooling uncontrollably the second he enters the car even without it being on. He will continue drooling like that the entire ride until he often will throw up. Will CBD work for him or do you suggest something else?
Hey Cindy, We do have a lot of customers that use our pet products for pet anxiety. We recommend you talk to your vet about this specific case.
What are the recommended doses by weight? Thanks!
Hey Jennifer, We always recommend checking in with your vet before giving your pup CBD! They'll also be able to help you with getting the right amount. Generally, there are some good resources out there that recommend starting at about 2mg/10lbs of body weight per day and adjusting as needed. Of course, that's a very general recommendation and you and your vet know your pup best! I hope this helps! Let us know if there's anything else we can do for you. :)
