Allan has been an organic vegetable farmer for ten years. In 2017, he began experiencing symptoms of Lyme’s Disease. When traditional methods of care did not work for his Lyme symptoms, he tried CBD - and finally found the relief he was looking for.
Because of this experience he decided add hemp to their crop rotation in 2018.
Allan is the founder and President of the New York Cannabis Growers and Processors Association; an organization of cannabis producers, processors and industry partners committed to an economically viable, consumer-conscious cannabis industry. NYCGPA worked closely with NYS Congress for the last three years to help pass the recent Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act passed - legalizing cannabis in New York state.

Karli Miller-Hornick is the co-founder and CEO at Head & Heal - an organic hemp company that wants to help people feel better and live happier lives. We've crafted organic full-spectrum hemp extracts that have become essentials in many people's lives.
Karli's roots are in Ithaca, New York, where she attended Cornell University and fell in love with the way the Ithaca Farmers Market fostered strong community bonds. Karli and Allan met in 2010 at the Groundswell Center for Local Food & Farming in a 6-month certificate program in Sustainable Agriculture. Allan started his farm, and Karli began working on her mission to help small farms thrive.
In 2016, Karli began working at Main Street Farms as the Sales & Marketing Manager and in 2018 joined forces with Allan to start Head & Heal. She's now an expert in all things hemp, and works tirelessly to educate about the healing powers of hemp via Head & Heal's Youtube Channel and live webinars in the Head & Heal Private Facebook Group.
